Raffaele and Victoria live in the United States and recently returned to Italy with their children to visit Raffaele’s family, originally from the Veneto region.
For families traveling with children and looking for a professional experience, you can explore our Venice family photographer service.
We had photographed their wedding a few years ago, and this time they wanted to preserve a new chapter of their life — traveling together as a family in Venice.
Their session unfolded naturally while walking around Piazza San Marco and through the narrow streets of the city. The children were curious, playful, and constantly moving, which made the experience spontaneous and genuine.
Photographing families in Venice is about observing real interactions rather than creating poses. Children rarely “pose” — they live the moment. The beauty of these sessions lies in capturing laughter, small gestures, and everyday emotions that happen while exploring the city together.
This morning with Raffaele and Victoria was a reminder of how photography can document not just places, but relationships and shared memories.
