Sometimes, a wedding is all about the couple and their bond. Brian and Rebecca chose Venice as their destination for this intimate civil ceremony, and I had the honor of documenting their special day.
We started the day exploring some of Venice’s most charming spots. From Piazza San Marco, even under light rain, we wandered into the Castello district—one of my favorite corners for capturing candid wedding moments.
Even when the weather isn’t perfect, Venice always offers magical light and unique moments. Later in the morning, we arrived at Palazzo Cavalli, where civil weddings are celebrated. The setting was simple, yet full of emotions, and every detail told the story of their love.
By the end of the session, Venice gifted us a rare spectacle: “acqua alta” (high water), which made the day even more memorable—a unique moment to include in Brian and Rebecca’s wedding story.
