The Essence of a Family

Recently, I had the pleasure of spending a morning in Venice with a family of three — a couple traveling with their teenage daughter.

We started early, just before sunrise. The city was wrapped in a soft fog, and the streets were almost empty. As the light slowly changed, Venice revealed itself in a gentle and intimate way — bridges emerging from the mist, gondolas moving silently, and warm colors reflecting on the canals.

Rather than focusing on poses, the session was about documenting their interactions: conversations, laughter, and small gestures that naturally happened while exploring the city together. Venice became a background to their story, not the main subject.
