Recently, I had the privilege of embarking on a photographic journey through Venice with a wonderful family of three – a loving couple and their teenage daughter. As we navigated the city's enchanting streets and picturesque canals, I aimed to capture the unique bond and shared experiences that define this special family.

Our adventure began early in the morning, just as the first rays of sunlight began to paint the sky with hues of gold and pink. The city was still cloaked in a soft layer of fog, adding an air of mystery and intrigue to our surroundings. As we ventured through the narrow alleyways and along the bustling canals, the fog gradually lifted, revealing the iconic landmarks of Venice in all their splendor.

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, the fog dissipated completely, revealing the city in all its vibrant glory. The canals shimmered under the sunlight, the gondolas glided gracefully by, and the streets were bustling with life. Yet, amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, our family remained the center of attention, their love and connection shining through in every photograph.

Venice family photography is more than just capturing images; it's about capturing the essence of family, the shared experiences, the love, and the laughter that make each family unique.

The best time for Venice family photography is during the spring or fall months, when the weather is mild and the crowds are smaller. Early morning is ideal, as the light is soft and golden, and the city is still relatively quiet.

Choose comfortable clothes that you feel good in. Flowing dresses and soft colors tend to photograph well, but feel free to express your personality with your unique style. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes in case the ones you're wearing get wet with morning dew.

In case the weather is not favorable for the day of your session, we will work together to find an alternative date. 

A typical Venice family photography session lasts about 30 minutes, 1 hour or 90 minutes.. For the Family Sessions we always suggest the 30 or the 60 minutes, especially if there are children.
